Prof. Kun Tan

East China Normal University (IEEE Senior Member)

Prof. Dr. Kun Tan is currently a Doctoral Supervisor of East China Normal University, Top young talents of the national, Zijiang Outstanding Young Scholars, and Deputy Director of Key Laboratory of Spatial-Temporal Big Data Analysis and Application of Natural Resources in Megacities (Ministry of Natural Resources). He is a Senior Member of IEEE, an editorial board member of ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (since 2017), a member of the Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Committee of the Chinese Society for Geodesy Photogrammetry and Cartography, a member of the Theory and Method Committee of the China Association for Geospatial industry and sciences, a member of the Remote Sensing Geology Committee of the Geological Society of China, a member of the Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Committee of the China Association of Remote Sensing Application, and a member of the Jiangsu Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System Society. His main research interests comprise hyperspectral image processing, classification and change detection, spectral unmixing, surface parameter quantitative inversion and urban remote sensing. He has gained innovative achievements in remote sensing data processing, image intelligent interpretation and ecological environment monitoring. He has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects, including a national talent project, four National Natural Science Foundation projects, two Shanghai key projects, and more than 10 other provincial and ministerial projects. He has authored more than 150 papers, including 70 SCI Retrieved Papers (59 as first author/corresponding author) and more than 30 papers in top journals (ISPRS PE&RS, IEEE TGRS, JHM, JAG). He has published five monographs (two as first author and two as second author). He has obtained 20 software copyrights and 7 invention patents. He has won 6 provincial and ministerial awards, including the second prize of natural science of the Ministry of Education, the science and technology progress award of Jiangsu Province, and the science and technology progress award of Hebei Province.




Prof. Jinghai Xu

Nanjing Tech University

Mr. Jinghai Xu is the dean and professor of the School of Geomatics Science and Technology, Nanjing Tech University, China. He received Ph.D. from Wuhan University in 2006. After that, he is working in Nanjing Tech University. He is a member of the Environmental Information and Remote Sensing Committee of Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, the Education Committee of Chinese Society for Geodesy Photogrammetry and Cartography, and the Executive Director of Jiangsu Society for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers and led more than 40 research and application projects. His research interests include smart city, disaster mitigation and emergency response.

Prof. Huan Yu

Chengdu University of Technology

Huan Yu, Ph.D., Professor, doctoral supervisor, high-level overseas talents of Sichuan Province, committee member of Digital Mountain Committee of International Society of Digital Earth, Mountain Resource Committee of China Society of Natural Resources, Soil Remote Sensing and Information Committee of Chinese Soil Society and lifetime member of Chinese Society for Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry. He received a doctorate in geographic information science and mainly focus on the landscape geochemistry study using geospatial techniques, remote sensing for ecological environment, and surveying and mapping science.

As the project leader, he presided over 30 projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Science Fund, the National Ecological Environment Changes Monitoring by Remote Sensing, Sichuan Province Postdoctoral Research Project Special Fund and other national and provincial projects; He is the editor in chief of Asian Journal of Geographic Research and deputy editor in chief of International Journal of Earth Science and Geography; He published over 100 papers in the "Journal of Geographic Exploration", "Environmental Geochemistry and Health", "Journal of Hydrology", "Geoderma", "Archives of Agronomy and Soil Science", "Critical Reviews in Environmental Science and Technology", and other peer-reviewed publications indexed by SCI, EI, or CSCD.
