2026 5th International Conference on Environmental Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Technology (ERSGIT 2026) is scheduled to be held in Lianyungang, China from September 18-20, 2026. The conference aims to provide a platform for experts and scholars, engineers and technicians, and technology developers engaged in environmental remote sensing and geographic information technology research to share scientific research results and cutting-edge technologies, understand academic development trends, broaden research ideas, strengthen academic research and discussion, and promote cooperation in industrialization of academic achievements. Experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities and research institutions, business people and other related personnel are invited to attend the conference.
To further expand the influence of accepted articles, with the prior authorization and consent of the authors, outstanding articles will be showcased on vertical platforms in relevant fields (e.g., industry-specific official WeChat accounts) and a dedicated display session will be set up at the conference venue. These measures aim to facilitate wider dissemination and exchange of the research outcomes.

About why we change the conference title from ERSBD to ERSGIT
In order to provide a better academic exchange platform for researchers, experts, and scholars from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in related fields, the conference committees decided to change the conference title from "Environmental Remote Sensing and Big Data (ERSBD) " to "Environmental Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Technology (ERSGIT) ".
